DALLAS — Dallas police confirmed Friday they arrested a third person in connection to the shooting death of a former University of Oklahoma football player in May.
Du’Vonta Lampkin, 25, was found facedown with a single gunshot wound at an apartment on South Ervay Street in downtown Dallas.
The third suspect was identified as 31-year-old John Williams, police say, who was arrested with help from the U.S. Marshals Task Force. More information on the arrest wasn’t released.
