INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Community groups, including neighborhood associations, can now apply for the 2019 Indy Neighborhood Infrastructure project.
Mayor Joe Hogsett made the announcement Monday from the Greystone neighborhood, the recipient of last year’s money.
Any non-profit, community-based organization in Marion County can submit a proposal for a new project, including roads, sidewalks, paths and bridges.
“I want to encourage all of the city’s neighborhoods to take note that they great work that the Greystone Association has given. I want to encourage all neighborhoods to apply,” Hogsett said.
This is the second year for the program, which allows the organizations to get funding matched by the City of Indianapolis up to $1.5 million.
You can apply on DPW’s website.
